Lancashire-based Green Shield Group have been appointed to deliver a 339.33 kWp solar PV system for New Century Foods in Scunthorpe. The bespoke system will save New Century Foods almost £40,000 in the first year of business and represent a return on investment within five years with an 82% self-consumption rate. The new solar PV installation spread across two buildings will save the business almost 150,000 kg of CO2 in Year One.
