As an inspiring day of learning and networking, the BFA’s Annual Conference is always a red letter day in the world of franchising. We were especially looking forward to the 2024 event, however, following the news earlier this year that both Dyno-Rod and one of our franchises had been nominated for two prestigious awards at a ceremony which followed the main conference.Dyno-Rod were awarded ‘Highly Commended’ in the prestigious Franchisor of the Year (Established) category, a proud accomplishment for all stakeholders.
The Fruit and Veg Man, a fruit and vegetable grocery franchise, has signed Demi King to run their Northamptonshire franchise. “I’m thrilled to introduce our very first female franchise, Demi King,” commented Sanjay Roy, Founder of the Fruit and Veg Man. "Her dedication and drive have been nothing short of extraordinary, and I have no doubt she’ll succeed in whatever she sets her mind to. We’re incredibly lucky to have her.”
The winners have been named in the 35th annual BFA HSBC UK British Franchise Awards. Held at the Telford International Centre, Shropshire, the awards followed the association’s annual conference sponsored by Citation and Evolve, with The Diary of a CEO’s Steven Bartlett as the headline speaker.
